Rogue Waters is a tactical turn-based strategy roguelite game that builds on Ice Code Games’ experience in the genre. I was responsible for creating and implementing all the sounds as well as implementing music and voiceovers for this game.
The sound design goal was to strike a balance between exciting pirate adventure tropes and the focused thinking required for the tactical genre.
For this project I had an opportunity to co-organize and execute a melee weapon sound recording session together with Grzegorz Michalak at Centrum Dawnych Sztuk Walki in Warsaw. The resulting sound library ended up being heavily used in the final project.

The game features a fun and unique score by Music Imaginary, as well as sound design contributions from Grzegorz Michalak.
