Welcome

My name is Jakub Piekarczyk and I enjoy telling stories with sound. My focus is on sound design and technical sound design for interactive media as well as field recording with particular interest in nature recording.

Education

I graduated with a Sound Engineering degree in 2016 from the Academy of Journalism and Social Communication and earned a Master’s degree in Games and Virtual Space Design at the University of Silesia in 2019.

After receiving my Master’s degree, I was offered an opportunity to teach a course on technical sound design at the University of Silesia which I did for the next two years.

JP Audio

In 2019, I also founded my company JP Audio that provides sound design services for game developers and offers a platform to share my sound recordings with those interested.
